Joe and Carolyn Miller started their company in the family garage back in 1974. They acquired their first customers by going door to door to promote their pest control services.
Carolyn Miller used to take her two small sons, John and Jimmy, on pest control jobs. "People loved seeing the boys when I came to service their houses," she says.

Joe, Carolyn, Mike, John and Jimmy Miller have all worked at JP Miller from the start. John has vivid memories of helping to remove pests from attics when he was 10 years old. "Pest control is in our blood!" he says.

Bruce Milletich was the company's first technician. Twenty years later, Bruce has his original route and still services many of his original clients.
